2024 Fantasy Outlook
As his Hall of Fame career winds down, Miller has had his share of injury struggles in recent years. In 2023, the 2011 first-rounder appeared in 12 games without a sack, totaling just three tackles. In what could be his last year with the Bills, Miller - who's now further past the torn ACL that ended his 2022 campaign - could cede starting snaps to Greg Rousseau and A.J, Epenesa, though he still has a chance to make a mark as a rotational pass rusher, health-permitting. RANKS
Two sacks through two games
Miller posted two tackles, including a sack, in Thursday's 31-10 win over the Dolphins.
ANALYSIS
Miller has now notched a sack in both of the Bills' first two games, after failing to record a single one over 12 contests in 2023. He looks to have finally fought back to a semblance of his normal self following significant knee injuries. At 35 years of age, Miller won't be an elite IDP option, especially while he's playing 50 percent or less of the defensive snaps. The strength of the Buffalo defense lies in its line, and it's likely the team keeps trying to pressure the opponent as it works its way through significant injuries to the other defensive units.

It is not hyperbole to say that Miller is one of the best pass rushers of all time, considering that since he entered the NFL in 2011, the 34-year-old has amassed 123.5 sacks through 161 contests. Last year, however, Miller suffered a season-ending ACL tear in Week 12 and is still working his way back from the injury. There is no official timetable on the linebacker's return to game action, and while there's some optimism that Miller could be available for Week 1, it's possible that he could start the coming campaign on the PUP list.

Miller feels healthy in camp coming off surgery to his right knee, Maddy Glab and Dorian Alerte of the Bills' official site report. "I'm feeling good," Miller said this week. "I haven't felt like this in two years... I'm feeling normal. I'm not thinking about my knee. I'm just getting back into things. Getting back in the hang of just playing football. And it feels good. It's just being meetings and not doing rehab all day and watch film to get reps with the guys and be out there. And, it's not all about my knee."

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Top training camp priority
Kevin Patra of NFL.com identifies finding out if Miller can regain his previous form as a top priority for the Bills in training camp.
ANALYSIS
Patra notes Miller is no lock to make the final roster even with $8.5 million guaranteed to him on the team books, considering he didn't record a sack over 12 regular-season games last season. The veteran pass rusher also hasn't earned a Pro Bowl nod since 2019, and although his 2022 knee injury could have still been affecting him last season, the fact Miller is 35 years old may make it difficult for him to bounce back to his once-elite form.
