Diaby hit the ground running as a rookie third-round pick in 2023, recording 7.5 sacks among his 38 tackles across 17 games. As might be expected, he encouragingly came on in the later portion of the season after getting some NFL reps under his belt, recording 5.5 of his sacks between Weeks 10 and 18. The hope is the momentum carries over into this season, as he's expected to handle a starting role in his second campaign. Diaby sustained a high-ankle sprain in late July, which kept him out of training camp for all of August, but he appears healthy enough to participate in team drills. The 2023 third-round pick is slated to start at outside linebacker opposite Joe Tryon-Shoyinka.
