Parker Kligerman

34-Year-Old Driver
Big Machine Racing
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Kligerman was really the surprise driver of 2023. The veteran pilot of the No. 48 Chevrolet raced to eight Top 5's and 18 Top 10's and snagged 10th-place in the driver points. While it was a winless campaign, it was still career-best marks for the 33-year-old driver. Kligerman returns to Big Machine Racing for another go at the Xfinity Series slate. He will once again be paired with crew chief, Patrick Donahue, and the two will look to build on the strong campaign they had last year. Road courses and intermediate ovals were this driver and team's strengths and they should be so again for Kligerman. While reaching victory lane is still likely too far a bridge to cross, this team's consistency and excellence should once again be very dependable. Read Past Outlooks
Runner-up Finish at Atlanta
XFINITY Series
September 7, 2024
Kligerman finished second in the Focused Health 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway Saturday afternoon.
ANALYSIS
The veteran driver started 16th on the grid and showed off his patience and skill at superspeedway racing. Kligerman would eventually work his way forward and stay out of the multiple cautions for multi-car accidents. In the final 13 laps of green-flag racing, he'd find himself battling among the leaders. Kligerman would push past AJ Allmendinger at the finish line to edge him out for a brilliant runner-up finish.

Kligerman makes a full-time return to the Xfinity Series in 2023 for the first time since 2013. This veteran driver has spent the last three seasons racing half-time in the Craftsman Truck Series and enjoying some decent success in that part-time competition. Kligerman grabbed a surprising win (Mid-Ohio) and eight Top-10 finishes in just 12 starts in the No. 75 truck of Henderson Motorsports. He made just three Xfinity Series starts last season, but the lone start he made with Big Machine Racing would net an impressive sixth-place finish at Talladega. Call it a successful "tryout" or "audition", but the performance was enough to earn Kligerman a shot at full-time driving for the team in 2023. Kligerman has close to 200-career starts in NASCAR's top three divisions, and that experience makes him a valuable driver for this team and a good sleeper pick in many fantasy racing leagues.
Primarily competes in the Camping World Truck Series, but Kligerman did make one Cup Series start last season with Gaunt Brothers Racing. No 2022 plans have been announced.
Kligerman will share the No. 75 Chevrolet in 2021. The team has committed to the first handful of races in the upcoming season with veteran Kligerman kicking things off at Daytona. More races could be added if funding is made possible.
Kligerman signed with Henderson Motorsports and will share the No. 75 Chevy truck with Caleb Holman. Kligerman should make about 8-10 starts with this team in 2017.
Kligerman signed with Ricky Benton Racing in February 2016. He'll race in at least a part-time capacity with this team this season.
The Camping World Truck Series sensation makes the full-time jump to the Nationwide Series in the coming year. Kligerman was hired over the off-season to pilot Kyle Busch Motorsports new second team, the No. 77 Toyota. The 21-year-old rising star will not be eligible for Rookie of the Year because he has 18 prior starts in the Nationwide Series and with some success as well. In 2012 alone, Kligerman collected a pair of Top 10’s in just three starts in the strong No. 22 Dodge. It’s that level of performance that earned him this job with KBM. We don’t expect Kligerman to let down team owner Kyle Busch either. The young driver had one victory and finished a very respectable fifth in last season’s truck series driver standings. Kilgerman should have a big first full season of racing in the Nationwide Series.
