Penalty save and clean sheet
GChelsea
September 15, 2024
Sanchez registered seven saves and secured a clean sheet in Saturday's 1-0 victory over AFC Bournemouth. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 37th minute.
ANALYSIS
Sanchez made an outstanding contribution to his team Saturday. He caused a penalty through fouling a goal bound Evanilson, and then saved the ensuing spot kick. This was complemented by six other assertive saves to help the Blues leave the game with all three points. The regular starter has not been particularly impressive this season, he has conceded five from Chelsea's first four matches but this was by far his best performance. He will need to be on his toes for their next against West Ham, the Hammers have scored in all their cup and league games this season.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Could leave Chelsea this summer
GChelsea
February 23, 2024
Chelsea might be interested in parting ways with Sanchez in the summer, according to Football Insider.
ANALYSIS
Sanchez has failed to perform at a high level this season, which means Chelsea are in the market for a new first-choice goalkeeper ahead of the summer transfer window. Dorde Petrovic has looked good when filling in for Sanchez, and this means Sanchez could be expendable in the summer, allowing the Blues to test the market for a new shot-stopper looking ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
