December 27, 2024
Coleman (undisclosed) was substituted during Thursday's 1-1 draw against Manchester City as a precaution, coach Sean Dyche confirmed in his press conference. "And Seamus is similar. It was just a precaution, so we're hopeful that's settled, as well," Dyche said. Prior to his substitution, Coleman registered one successful tackle, five clearances, and two blocks.
ANALYSIS
Coleman made his first start for Everton since late August but was substituted in the 90th minute as a precaution. Coach Sean Dyche is optimistic about Coleman's availability for Sunday's match against Nottingham Forest, though the extent of his discomfort remains unclear. If Coleman is unable to start, Ashley Young is expected to replace him at right-back.
