Caceres has been confirmed to have suffered a grade two injury in his left thigh, with coach Andre Jardine saying "it's a significant injury of two centimeters in the posterior muscle of the leg. He will take at least four weeks to recover".
ANALYSIS
Caceres is now officially unavailable for the rivalry match against Chivas and most likely four additional league games. This problem, which the center-back picked up while playing for the Uruguayan national team during the international break, extends a series of blows that have not allowed him to play consistently, and it's the second muscular issue he has suffered over the last year. The Azulcremas are now without both Caceres and Igor Lichnovsky (knee), so Ramon Juarez may get a chance to feature alongside Nestor Araujo in upcoming fixtures.
