Benjamin St-Juste

27-Year-Old CornerbackCB
Washington Commanders
2024 Fantasy Outlook
A 2021 third-round pick, St-Juste mostly came off the bench as a rookie before starting all 12 of his games in 2022 and all 16 in 2023. His 17 pass defenses last season were fourth most in the league, and he also had 67 tackles, two forced fumbles, an interception and a sack, providing solid IDP production for a corner. Meanwhile, St-Juste allowed a league-high 779 yards into his coverage, with QBs preferring to pick on him or rookie Emmanuel Forbes rather than Kendall Fuller. With Fuller now gone, St-Juste is locked in as a starter but probably won't quite see as many passes in his direction. Read Past Outlooks

St-Juste (chest) was a full participant in Friday's practice and does not carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
St-Juste was limited for the first two practices of the week, but he was able to avoid an injury tag heading into Week 4 after practicing in full Friday. The 2021 third-round pick has tallied 17 tackles (14 solo), four passes defended and one forced fumble through the first three games of the regular season.

2021
He may only be the third cornerback in Washington after the Commanders spent a first-round pick on Emmanuel Forbes, but St-Juste figures to be on the field more often than not and could get extra tackle opportunities if he spends some of his time in the slot.
A pair of concussions cost St-Juste eight games in his rookie season after Washington took him in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He's healthy heading into training camp and could win the nickel job in Washington.
St-Juste, a third-round pick out of Minnesota, instantly becomes one of the tallest cornerbacks in the NFL, checking in at 6-3, 202. He'll likely line up on the perimeter, but Washington may not need him this season, as Kendall Fuller and William Jackson should form a strong duo in the starting lineup. If anything, the team might bring St-Juste on as the fifth DB for nickel formations, with Fuller then sliding inside to cover the slot, a role he's excelled at in the past. Such a development would be beneficial for Fuller's IDP value, but it would still leave St-Juste out of the picture in all likelihood. On the other hand, the rookie could end up making a bunch of tackles if an injury to Fuller or Jackson opens up a three-down role.
