Woolen was once again a full-time starter for the Seahawks in 2023 and generated 53 tackles (42 solo), 11 pass breakups and two interceptions through 16 games. The 2022 fifth-round pick continued to impress in coverage, but he lacks consistent tackling skills that can make him exploitable against certain schemes. The Seahawks selected Woolen in the fifth round last year, and he was their second cornerback taken in the draft. However, his athleticism shined as he won a starting job and thrust himself into the Defensive Rookie of the Year conversation with 63 tackles, 16 pass breakups and six interceptions through 17 starts. The Seahawks drafted CB Devon Witherspoon fifth overall this year, but Woolen's starting spot on the other side still is secure for 2023.
