2024 Fantasy Outlook
After being selected in the third round of the 2023 draft, Pickens was a rotational player who was on the field for 251 snaps in 17 games. On the season, the defensive tackle recorded 20 tackles and a forced fumble. If his snap share increases, he could emerge as a solid interior lineman in IDP leagues. Read Past Outlooks

Groin
September 15, 2024
Pickens (groin) is questionable to return to Sunday's contest against the Texans.
ANALYSIS
Pickens appears to have picked up a groin injury against Houston and his status for the rest of the game is now up in the air. In his absence, Chris Williams could see an increase in his workload at defensive tackle.

2023 Fantasy Outlook
The Bears selected Pickens with the 64th pick in the 2023 draft, so they made a solid investment in addressing their interior defensive line. In past years, Chicago struggled with interior defense, both in terms of stopping the run and pressuring opposing quarterbacks. In the short term, Pickens may find himself competing with free-agent addition Andrew Billings, who is a six year veteran. However, if Pickens lives up to his draft capital early on, he could take the lead in what will likely be a defensive line rotation.
