2024 Fantasy Outlook
Steele wasn't selected in April's NFL Draft but has a good shot of making Kansas City's roster after turning heads in training camp. The 6-foot-1, 225-pounder brings multiple useful skills to the table: he was listed as a fullback on KC's initial depth chart and is certainly capable of serving as a lead blocker in two-back sets, but he is also a powerful runner with the ball in his hands, is solid in pass-protection and can contribute on special teams. If he does in fact make the cut, Steele could add some new wrinkles to an offense that didn't roster a fullback last season while garnering occasional carries behind Isiah Pacheco and Clyde Edwards-Helaire. Two touches versus Bills
Steele recorded one rush for two yards and gathered in his only target for five yards during Sunday's 30-21 loss versus the Bills.
ANALYSIS
Steele saw the field on just eight offensive plays versus the Bills, so his two touches during the contest shouldn't come as a surprise. The undrafted rookie's fantasy future looks even bleaker when factoring in the anticipated return of Isiah Pacheco (ankle) from injured reserve in Week 12. If everything goes as expected, Steele and Samaje Perine will likely be duking it out for spare reps behind Pacheco and Kareem Hunt going forward.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Getting veteran backfield mate
Steele will be joined in the Chiefs backfield by veteran Kareem Hunt for Sunday's matchup against the Chargers after the latter was signed off the practice squad Wednesday, Adam Teicher of ESPN.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Steele handled lead-back responsibilities with aplomb in last Sunday's win over the Falcons, rushing 17 times for 72 yards and adding a two-yard reception. Steele ceded some snaps to Samaje Perine, who logged nine total touches in Kansas City's 22-17 win. With Hunt now joining the fray and Reid confirming that the veteran will be active against the Chargers, Steele may inevitably see at least a slight downturn in opportunity.
